I enjoy working in various mediums
The Artists bio
I grew up in the small East Ayrshire mining village of Dalmellington, then in 1995 headed off to Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. At art college I was naturally drawn to Printed Textile design in which I completed my degree. After leaving college I returned to Ayrshire, living in Irvine and now Kilmanock, I re-trained and have been working in Accounts and raising my family since.
During this time I have also had work exhibited in locally in the Save the Children exhibition in Rozelle House and Eglington Open Art Exhibition. I enjoy working in various mediums for example, oils, gouache, pencil and also enjoy photography. Most of my current work is in oils and is inspired by the detail and patterns created by nature.
