My work is inspired by the ancient connection between people and trees and how this manifests in folklore, belief and wellbeing. I’m especially interested in exploring form, capturing movement, life, and implications of human-ness in non-human shapes.
I work in monochrome primarily with ink, sometimes in oils. Photography is also a large part of recording my experiences as an artist visiting trees.
I’m based at my home studio in East Ayrshire and welcome enquiries for purchase, media, or collaborative projects.
