Jenny Brown Artist
Jenny Brown is an award-winning seascape artist from Kilmarnock who lives seasonally at Southend, Kintyre.
She is a retired teacher, member of Paisley Art Institute and has exhibited with Open Studios Ayrshire for 11 years and in her 2nd year with Artmap Argyll.
She won the Buckreddan Prize at the North Ayrshire Open Art Exhibition 2022.
Jenny’s solo exhibitions include ‘Arran & Iona: The Mystical Isles’ at Souter Gallery, Kirkoswald (May 2024); ‘Between Sand, Sea and Sky’ at Harbour Cottage Gallery, Kirkcudbright (June 2024) and a 23 piece exhibition for 2020 The Year of Coast and Water.
She works in oils and is heavily influenced by the stunning beaches of the Hebrides, Ayrshire and Kintyre.
