Susan Macinnes is an artist based on the South Ayrshire coast.
An experienced water colour painter, she also works with oils and she particularly enjoys working with charcoal in her Life Drawing work.
She is inspired by the local floral and fauna that surround her – particularly the birds, hares, flowers and seaweed of the west coast of Scotland.
A member of Ayr Sketch Club, Susan’s work has been exhibited on numerous occasions at the RSW in Edinburgh, the Paisley Art Institute, The Maclaurin Art Gallery and at Craft Town Scotland.
2024 is the first time that she is exhibiting with Open Studios Ayrshire, and she is really looking forward to meeting you all.
