This diptych was made in response to an amazing piece of reportage outlining the experiences of some of the inhabitants of Mykolaiv, Ukraine, and the harsh environment they are either learning to live in, or prepare to leave.
It was written by Emma Graham Harrison, Senior International Affairs Correspondent for The Guardian & The Observer, and she graciously granted me permision to use her words in this work.
